Every good in Timberborn Version 1 in one table: food, ingredients, building materials and the two fluids. For each one you can see which workplace makes it, which crop, tree or bush grows it, which recipes eat it, and how many workplaces need it to be built. Search for a good, or filter by type or faction.

How to read the table
Made by and Used by are built from the recipes in the buildings table, so a good with a long Used by list is a bottleneck worth stockpiling. Planks feed several recipes and 23 of the 51 workplaces need them to be built; gears go into 27 workplaces. Running out of either stalls construction for the whole colony.
Grown from is the crop, tree or bush that produces it, with days to mature and the harvest. Crops are harvested once per planting: a carrot tile gives 3 carrots after 4 days and then has to be replanted. Trees and bushes with a regrow time keep giving after the first harvest. A Chestnut Tree takes 23 days to mature, gives 3 chestnuts, then gives 3 more every 8 days for as long as it stands, and still yields 4 logs when you finally cut it.
Satisfies a need marks goods the wiki lists as satisfying a beaver need. Every food does (hunger, plus its own nutrition need for well-being), water does (thirst), and a few materials do too: books, coffee, antidotes, catalyst, punch cards, biofuel and grease (some of these are for bots).
Things that trip players up
- Folktails and Iron Teeth share almost no food. Use the Faction filter: Folktails eat carrots, bread, crackers, grilled foods and maple pastries, while Iron Teeth eat kohlrabi, rations and fermented foods. Berries are the only food both factions gather from the same plant.
- Canola Oil is an Iron Teeth choke point. It goes into eggplant rations, algae rations, fermented soybeans and grease, and one Oil Press makes only about 12 a day on a 16-hour shift.
- Logs are fuel as well as material. Sixteen recipes in ten buildings use logs, from 0.1 per batch in kitchens to 1 per plank or per 2 paper in the mills, on top of 30 workplaces that need logs to build.
- Badwater is useful. The Centrifuge turns 4 badwater into 1 extract, and the Explosives Factory uses it for explosives and fireworks.
The table covers goods that appear in a workplace recipe, a build cost or a plant harvest on the wiki. Dandelions have no growth data on the wiki yet, so their row shows only the recipe that uses them.
